Prayer

I was so convicted the other night when I hurt my hand pretty bad and my daughter (who is about to be 5) was about to go to bed and said “I want to pray for your hand to feel better.” I thought she meant once she was in bed and prayed with her dad before going to sleep, but no. She stopped right there, gently grabbed my hand and prayed. She prayed for God to all he could to heal my hand.
Y’all. If a little kid can stop and pray, we should be able to as well. We should also be able to follow through. The next morning she asked if my hand was feeling better (it actually was) and she thanked God for healing my hand!
We are told to pray consistently. We (speaking to myself) need to stop letting everyday little things get in the way of BIG conversations with our Father.
Praying consistently looks like our thoughts and words being put into God’s hands from when we wake up to when we fall asleep. I am not perfect at this, but I strive to be like my daughter (faith like a child) and get bummed when I forget to pray.
